Bacon Chive Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Chives
  • 2 cups Self Rising Flour
  • 5 tablespoons Butter, Cold
  • 2/3 cup Whole Milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to a paper towel to cool.
  3. In a large bowl mix together chives and flour. Grate butter into flour mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Chop bacon and stir into flour mixture.
  5. Stir in milk until fully incorporated and a thick batter has formed.
  6. Using two spoons, drop batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to make 8 biscuits.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly and serve.
