Apple Cinnamon Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Apples, Red, cored and roughly chopped (such as Fuji)
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 12 ounces Coconut Milk, Or almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes

Directions

  1. Place apples, water and cinnamon in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or until apples are soft.
  2. Allow apples to cool at room temperature (or chill in the refrigerator) until cool, reserving cooking liquid.
  3. Put cooled apples with reserved cooking liquid in the jar of a blender.
  4. Add coconut milk, yogurt, oats, maple syrup and ice. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
