We know, you love coffee. It's probably the least original thing about you.

We don't need to tell you that coffee is insanely popular and that countless people rely on it for basic executive functioning skills. Honestly I'm not sure how I'm writing this on a Monday morning without having had any first. (Please clap.)

But just because you're very well aquainted with coffee doesn't mean you know everything you want to about these powerful little beans. After all, there's kind of a lot to know. 

I worked in a coffee shop for a while, and have sort of accidentally wound up on coffee farms in several Central American countries, witnessing several steps in the production process most people in the United States never see.
