It’s breakfast time and you’re looking for something special.
With the deliciousness of bananas coupled with fabulous french toast, your family will be waiting at the table for you to serve this dish.
Let’s make a Banana French Toast Bake!
Preheat oven to 350˚F.
Over medium-high heat, melt 1/2 cup butter and stir together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspooncinnamon, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Bring to a simmer and add the 5 bananas, sliced.
In a large bowl, whisk 8 eggs, 3/4 cups brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 cup heavy cream, and 1 cup milk.
Take 1 loaf of French bread and cut into 1 inch cubes.
Add the cubes of French bread, and gently stir until the bread has soaked up all the liquid.
Pour the bread into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with the banana and sugar glaze.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy around the edges and top. (Times & temperatures may vary based on oven).
