How to Make Bacon and Egg Fried Rice

There’s no reason for breakfast to be boring.

We say, it’s time to get creative with your morning meal.

So we’re taking inspiration from our favorite take-out and changing things up…

Let’s make Bacon and Egg Fried Rice!

Bacon and Egg Fried Rice

Beat three eggs in an empty bowl, then add a bit of salt until well-combined.

Cut 8 ounces of bacon into 1-inch pieces and finely dice 1 medium onion.

Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in either a wok or nonstick frying pan over medium heat.

Add beaten eggs. Gently scramble the eggs, when the egg is almost done, remove from wok, and set aside.

Then add bacon to the wok and allow it to render down and become crisp. Once the bacon is done, take it out of the wok and set aside, along with the scrambled eggs.

Add the diced onion to the wok and stir-fry until translucent.

Then add 5 cups cooked rice, make sure the rice is fluffed and cooled, and stir-fry for 2 to 5 minutes. Use spatula to break up any clumps.
