How to Bake Chocolate Lava Cake at Home!

There are few desserts more rich and decadent than Chocolate Lave cake.

It’s got delicious chocolate cake, and that delectable chocolate lava sauce that oozes out the moment you cut into it.

So let’s get to baking easy chocolate lava cake…

Chocolate Lava Cake

Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Then butter 4 individual ramekins and set aside.

Melt 6 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate on a low flame in a double boiler until it is liquid smooth.

Meanwhile in a bowl, whisk together 3 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar until it starts to whiten and foam up.

Once chocolate is melted completely remove from the heat and add in 6 ounces, diced, room temperature butter, 1/2 teaspoon ground espresso, and 1/2  teaspoon cinnamon.

Keep mixing until all of the butter is melted and the spices are incorporated. Then fold the chocolate mixture into the eggs.

Add 1/3 cup flour and keep mixing until it is incorporated.

Pour batter into the prepared ramekins and bake for approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until the outside is set.
