Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit; be sure to use your thermometer to check the temperature is correct.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. 
  3. Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a mixer until creamed.
  4. Add the eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Beat in the flour mixture, small portions at a time.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Depending on how crisp you like your cookies, bake 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool the cookies for 2 minutes before moving to wire racks to completely cool.
