  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 cup Whey Protein Isolate
  • 3 tablespoons Plain Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Xanthan Gum
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil, for frying
  • Salt


  1. Mix all of the ingredients (except the oil) in a large bowl to create a dough. The consistency of the dough will be quite sticky. If the dough feels too hard, add a little water. Place into the fridge for 10 minutes.
  2. Make 1-2 inch balls and roll in your hand, adding a bit of flour if needed. Then, flatten with your hands to create tortilla looking shapes. 
  3. Heat the oil in a large pan and drop the poori into the oil. 
  4. Cook until each side are light brown in color. 
  5. Drain on a piece of paper towel before serving.
