Italian Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Beef Bottom Round Roast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 28 ounces Crushed Tomatoes, (1 can)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
for serving (if desired):
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Bread

Directions

  1. Sprinkle the roast with salt and pepper. Place in a slow cooker with the heat on low.
  2. Mix together the tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Pour over the beef roast.
  3. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until beef is very tender.
  4. Season with more salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Slice the meat and serve the meat and gravy over pasta, rice, or bread.
