Homemade Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all of the ingredients and process until smooth.
  2. Press the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining lumps or large pieces of skin.
  3. Pour the resulting cranberry juice into a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the sauce, whisking constantly, until thick and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before placing in a jar or bowl.
  6. Cool to room temperature, cover, and place in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight to set.
  7. Serve with Thanksgiving dinner!
