Grilled Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Italian Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1 pound Jumbo Raw Shrimp, Peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound Bacon, Sliced into half-strips

Directions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes prior to using.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Italian dressing and mustard. Stir until well combined.
  3. Dip each shrimp into the mustard sauce, wrap with half slice of bacon and thread onto skewer. Continue until all shrimp have been skewered. Discard any remaining sauce.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Place skewers on grill and grill until bacon is cooked and shrimp are pink in color and fully cooked (~3-4 minutes per side). 

Notes

  • Shrimp cook very quickly. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp!
  • The grill will likely flare up due to the oil from the salad dressing. Use a small spray bottle of water to keep flare-ups under control.
