Flank Steak Tacos Recipe

  • 1 1/2 pounds Flank Steak
For the Marinade:
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
For Serving: Taco Toppings:
  • Cheese
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • Diced Onion
  • Guacamole
  • Lettuce
  • Chopped Fresh Tomatoes


  1. In a large resealable plastic bag add all of the ingredients for the marinade. Mix them together and then add the flank steak. Seal and squish around until the steak is well coated.
  2. Place in fridge for 1-8 hours.
  3. Heat grill over high heat. Add steak, discarding the marinade and grill for about 4 minutes each side for medium rare.
  4. Let steak rest for 5 minutes and then slice on a 45 degree angle against the grain. Serve in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.
