Bombay Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Small White Potatoes, boiled
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 4 tablespoons Cilantro Chutney
  • Butter
  • Chaat Masala Spice Mix

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes, cucumber, tomatoes, and onions into thin slices.
  2. Toast the bread slices.
  3. Spread a tablespoon of green chutney onto each of the four of the bread slices and butter on the other four slices.
  4. Layer slices of potato, cucumber, tomato and onion over the chutney.
  5. Sprinkle with chaat masala.
  6. Cover each with a buttered slice of bread. 

Notes

Chaat masala splice blend can be found at Indian grocery stores. You can also serve these sandwiches with a little ketchup.
