Barefoot Contessa Asian Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Salmon
Marinade:
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 6 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced

Directions

  1. While your grill is heating, place the salmon skin side down on a cutting board and cut it crosswise into four equal pieces.
  2. Mix together the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Drizzle half of the marinade onto the salmon and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Put the salmon skin side down on the heated grill and discard the marinade the fish was sitting in. Grill for around five minutes. (Will depend on how thick the fish is)
  5. Turn with a wide spatula and grill for another five minutes or so.
  6. Transfer salmon to a flat plate, skin side down and spoon the reserved marinade on top.
  7. Permit the fish to rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the skin and serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
