While not all flowers are edible, the edible ones have a pleasing, wonderful flavor when consumed. Roses, Hibiscus, Marigold, Chrysanthemums, Pea flowers are all edible and are steeped to make natural beverages.


  • 1/2 Tsp dried rose petals
  • 1/2 Tsp dried hibiscus petals (optional) but lends a beautiful red color if used and has a tang-sweet flavor
  • 6-7 mint leaves
  • 1 Green tea bag
  • 1/4 Tsp fennel seeds
  • 1" ginger root
  • 1/2 Tsp honey to taste
