Walkers Shortbread Mini Apple Pear Crisps combine apples and pears and top them with a shortbread topping. Amazing Fall comfort food.
- softened butter, for ramekins or skillets
- 3 small bartlett pears, peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 small baking apples, peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cardamom
- 5 walkers shortbread cookies
- 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cold, cut into small pieces
- vanilla ice cream, for serving, optional
