Vietnamese Egg Roll (Chả Giò)

Sharing the most popular dish in Vietnam. Egg roll is usually served in some holidays and celebrations as an appetizer dish. It is also a perfect breakfast food for most people.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 lb shrimp ((peeled and deveined))
  • 1 lb chayote ((peeled))
  • 1 lb carrot ((peeled))
  • 1 lb taro root ((peeled))
  • 4 egg
  • 2.5 oz dried black fungus ((optional))
  • 1 yellow onion ((peeled))
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder ((optional))
  • 5 packs spring roll shell ((25 wrappers/pack))
