Having a good fig jam in your fridge is very convenient. Especially when it is so easy to make. When you make brunches it changes form the traditional strawberry jam (which is eternally delicious but hey, everybody needs a change once in a while). It is amazing on bread with some goat cheese (if you are not vegan), and by itself (if you are vegan).
- 500 grams figs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Clean the figs and cut them in 4 pieces. Put them in a sauce pan on low fire with 2 tablespoons of water and cook them for 10 minutes....
