  • 2 lbs Venison steaks - tenderized
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups venison stock - or beef, or vegetable, or water
  • 1 medium onion - sliced thin
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms - diced
  • 3/4 cup dry red wine
  • 2 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
