Black gram rice from the grandmothers treasure house

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1/2 cup black gram (ulundu with skin)
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 5 cups Water
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Into your pressure pan add the fenugreek and caraway seeds, followed by the ghee. As they roast add the black gram and curry leaves....
