Turmeric has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Many studies show that it helps to prevent cancer. It has been used for a long time in the medicine, health and wellness. Turmeric milk is a good remedy for colds, congestion, headache, sore throats, as well as depression. It´s best to use fresh ingredients in this recipe, but if you don´t have them, dried turmeric and ginger is fine too.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup skimmed milk
  • 1 small piece sliced turmeric (or pinch of dried turmeric)
  • 1/2 tsp sliced ginger
  • 1 tsp honey
