Ingredients

  • 250 g or 9oz golden syrup
  • 50 g or 2oz black treacle
  • 115 g Butter
  • 115 g or 4oz dark brown sugar
  • 250 g or 9oz Gluten free porridge oats OR gluten-free oatmeal if you can find it (chopped in food processor)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (more if you love ginger like me)
  • 90 g or 3oz Gluten free self-raising flour
  • 25 g or 1oz ground almonds
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
