Southwest Chorizo Soup is spicy and so satisfying. Wouldn't corn bread be great with this?

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound chorizo sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 4 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 14.5 ounce can diced fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup cooked parboiled rice
  • 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 15 oz can canned black beans, drained
  • 1 cup frozen corn
