Today we are bringing to you a holiday favorite of mine and so many around the South, Sausage Balls. Typically, these are made with Bisquick baking mix but today I am bringing you a way to make it with self-rising flour. I do believe that Bisquick may have been the one that came up with this recipe but honestly, I am not sure.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Sausage
- 1 lb Freshly Shredded Extra Sharp Cheese (It works better if you grate the cheese yourself. The extra moisture from the cheese helps to bind the mix. )
- 2 cups Self-Rising flour
