Roast Turkey with Pomegranate Glaze

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 celery stalk (cut into 4 pieces)
  • 1 carrot (peeled and cut into 4 pieces)
  • 1 onion (rough chopped)
  • giblets (neck, heart, gizzard)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate molasses1 ((not juice))
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp dried red pepper flakes
  • 1 recipe Corn Bread Dressing (If not using then quarter 1 lemon and 1 onion for body cavity)

Directions

  1. Combine all gravy base ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer one hour. Strain out solids saving the broth. Return the broth to the stove...
