Jollof Jasmine rice and black eyed peas

Smokey Jollof rice and beans. A blend of jollof rice and red red ( Stewed black eyed peas). A party favorite packed with lots of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 3 cups cooked black eyed peas ((salted))
  • 1 13oz can tomato sauce
  • 3 &1/3 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 6 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tsp spanish paprika
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
