Scrumptious bar-type cookie with a crust layer, a coconut-pecan filling layer, and topped with a citrus buttercream icing to die for!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened or melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed )
  • 2 tbsp. Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour ((bleached flour toughens baked goods))
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (sifted )
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 tbsp. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
