Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 medium carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 small red pepper chopped
  • 1 medium leek washed and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 oz. mixed mushrooms chopped
  • 1/2 10 oz. package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 shredded rotisserie chicken
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 stick cold butter
  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • black pepper to taste
