Glazed Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

This moist and delicious muffin is filled with poppy seeds and lemony flavor from lemon juice, lemon zest and lemon in the glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter (softened)
  • 1 tbsp. grated lemon zest
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp. melted butter
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 scant cup powdered sugar
