Ingredients

  • 2 yellow squashes, sliced thin, about 4 cups
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon lawry's seasoned salt
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
