Wonderful brunch idea. The pastry uses [url href="http://www.pillsbury.com/" target="_blank" title="pillsbury"]crescent rolls[/url] for the crust and topping with a luscious [url href="http://www.kraftrecipes.com/philadelphia/default.aspx" target="_blank" title="philadelphia cream cheese"]cream cheese [/url]layer in between and powdered sugar icing on top.
- 8-oz. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
- 1 egg yolk (save white)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cans Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
