Ingredients

  • 1 2-4 pound corned beef brisket
  • 2 large onions (peeled and cut into large wedges)
  • 3 pounds new potatoes (halved)
  • 1 pound carrots (cut large)
  • 1 box chicken broth
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • 1 packet seasonings that come with brisket
  • salt and pepper to taste
