Chickpea rolls Indian Salad

Have you heard of a salad from India? Try an Indian salad plate created with Indian breakfast chickpea rolls (Cheela), grilled veggies, nuts & mango dressing. This is a healthy and wholesome salad with savory Indian flavors. Namaste!


  • 2/3 cup Besan (Bengal gram flour) or Chickpea flour
  • 1/2 green chili (very fine chopped)
  • 1/4 onion (very fine chopped)
  • 1/2 tea spoon Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tea spoon Garam masala
  • 1/4 tea spoon Turmeric powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • cooking oil
  • 1/4-1/2 Mango (depending on the size)
  • 2-3 table spoons Greek yogurt (or more if you like it creamy )
  • 1-2 table spoons honey
  • 1 lemon
  • 1-2 table spoons Sriracha sauce (or more, if you like spicy)
  • 2 portions Salad leaves (of your choice)
  • 1/4 medium size Pumpkin (cut into 1 cm squares)
  • 1 beetroot (cut into 1 cm squares)
  • olive oil
