Apple and Custard Brioche Bake

A gorgeous way to use up old brioche bread and make a tasty brunch.

Ingredients

  • 5 large Brioche buns or a Brioche Loaf ( torn into cubes, older bread is better)
  • 6 Eggs
  • 4 green apples (peeled and diced)
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Madagascan Vanilla Essense
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of Nutmeg
  • butter for greasing the dish or tin
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 3 cups icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
