Chickpeas and Quinoa are a delicious and healthy alkaline vegan alternative to black beans and rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chick Peas or Garbanzo Beans
  • 1 cup Portabella Mushrooms chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 cup Red Onions chopped
  • 1 cup Red Bell Peppers chopped
  • 1/2 Habanero Pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon of Agave or Date Syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Powder
  • 1 cup Spring Water Or Veggie Broth
  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 2 cups Spring Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cilantro
