Take a Peep at the New Limited Edition Pepsi Flavor

When it comes to crazy soda flavors, I’ve had my share. Curiosity gets the best of me and I have to know what pickle-flavored soda tastes like. I can’t help it.

Nothing could prepare me for this week when Pepsi released their new Peep-flavored soda. You read that correctly. Pepsi x Peep is real and it's available now.

Originally introduced in 2021 on a very limited basis available to only a few thousand fans, this time the Pepsi x Peeps collaboration is available to everyone.

What Does Peeps Pepsi Taste Like?

Now, as someone that holds real disdain for anything Peeps, I can’t even begin to fathom mixing that awful flavor into an ice cold Pepsi.

Cola and marshmallow? Really?! Never one to yuck someone else's yum, I am committed to keeping an open mind even if I'm very wary.

Pepsi has dubbed the soda mashup “surprisingly delicious,” combining the taste of Pepsi with Peeps, making for a “pillowy-soft marshmallow cola.”

Peeps are definitely a love it or hate it kind of thing. While many find them to be gross, there is a cult-like following that love the little things.

Heck, even homemade Peeps vodka is a thing - am I trying it? No! Should you? Absolutely if Peeps are your thing.

I do think there was a real missed opportunity to call this marshmallow mashup Peepsi. The marketing team really dropped the ball on that one.

Good news is, I’m happily available should they happen to need any more fresh ideas and I am willing to lend my services.

Where Can You Buy Peeps-Flavored Pepsi?

Technically speaking, the Peeps-flavored Pepsi isn’t a new flavor. It actually debuted two years ago as an Easter promotion, but only a few cans were given away in a contest.

This past fall, Pepsi offered a limited-edition S’mores Pepsi, which was actually three separate flavors: graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow.

Offered in a fun seasonal kit, the consumer was then able to mix them together based on their preference to create the perfect s'mores flavor.

You can purchase the Peeps Pepsi now through this spring wherever you buy your favorite soda products, while supplies last.

Pepsi isn’t the only brand jumping on the bandwagon of crazy concoctions.

In 2022, Coca-Cola dropped four different flavors throughout the year, with strange names like Coca-Cola Dreamworld Starlight, said to taste like space.

At the end of the day, I prefer an ice cold Coke over Pepsi, but a Wild Cherry Pepsi over Cherry Coke, and a Dr. Pepper over all of them.

Of course, Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream and bourbon-flavored Dr. Pepper are a whole thing, too, but that's a chat for another day.
