McDonald’s Testing the New Chicken Big Mac in the United States

Let’s check our calorie counting at the door and just enjoy the ride that is a new-to-us McDonald’s sandwich, the Chicken Big Mac!

I shouldn’t be as excited about this as I am, but I truly truly am. Will they just call it a Chicken Big Mac? Or a McChicken Mac?!

For now, Chicken Big Mac it is! After huge success in the UK, selling out in just 10 days, McD’s is looking to other test markets for the new sandwich.

The States are first up, with a stores in the Miami, Florida area slated to serve as the initial testing grounds. Personally, I don't think of Miami as a test market.

No, no. The Chicken Big Mac sounds like it would fit perfectly in Ohio. In fact I'll even take one for the team and be first in line to tast test!

If this is anything like Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza, I think we can beat the Brits (once again) by selling out in half the time, hands down.

Never underestimate America’s love for fast food and any opportunity to stick it to the monarchy. Still. Over two hundred years later. I kid, I kid.

What Is a Chicken Big Mac?

McDonald's newest chicken sandwich will feature a tempura battered chicken, which is the same that McDonald’s uses on their chicken nuggets.

In addition to the protein, the sandwich will boast that famous special Mac sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and the classic middle bun.

Honestly? I’ve looked at this from every angle and I can’t see any reason why this wouldn’t be delicious. I'm onboard!

Especially with some salty fries and a large Coca-Cola. Yum! I would get a milkshake, too, but we all know the machine is broken.

Anyway, I digress. Do your thing, Miami! We're all hoping to be next in line to give the Chicken Big Mac a try!
