Each year in August our family heads to camp for a week of swimming, boating and experimenting with new camping recipes we've been wanting to try.

My six year old refers to the island where we camp as her "favorite place" because there's nothing like listening to the loons and the sizzle of the grill.

We bring our A game when it comes to camp cooking. While a good burger is great, we keep a stash of unique, delicious camping recipes at the ready.
