Candy Corn Vodka Recipe
Susannah Brinkley Henry | Feast + WestIt’s no trick! This Candy Corn Vodka is a total treat fit for Halloween. Infuse vodka with the iconic tri-striped candy to yield a pumpkin-colored spirit worthy of the spookiest party.
Love it or hate it, candy corn season is here.
It’s one of the top-selling Halloween candies in the nation, but those little neon-striped candies can divide a crowd in a heartbeat.
My cousin loves it more than anyone I’ve ever met. When she went to college, my dad would send her a care package every fall — mainly just a box full of candy corn, her favorite.
My dad, on the other hand, will not touch the stuff. Unless it’s to mail said care packages.
Me? I’m on the fence. I’ll eat a few, but after a while they just taste like sugar to me!
Apparently it’s extra terrible for your teeth (can’t say I’m that surprised), which dentists must love.
But Halloween comes just once a year, so thankfully there’s few opportunities to overindulge — unless you’re into the various other color schemes offered throughout the year. (Red and pink cupid corn, anyone? Hard pass!)
If you’re a candy corn fanatic, you might be in search of candy corn recipes to enjoy throughout October.
You’re in luck, because there’s a lot out there! From Candy Corn Trash to Candy Corn Oreo Pops, there’s something for everyone.
But you might be surprised to learn you can also drink your candy corn. Oh yes, Candy Corn Vodka is here to help you toast to Halloween this year.
This pumpkin-colored spirit is a cinch to make. Toss candy corn and vodka into a jar or bowl, let it sit for a while with vodka and boom! Candy Corn Vodka.
If you’re hosting a Halloween party, you could definitely whip up a few batches of this Candy Corn Vodka recipe to serve to your guests.
You can use it in a Candy Corn Martini, though it’s sweet enough to sip over ice or even enjoy as a shooter. (Just make sure you brush your teeth afterward!)
You can definitely have fun with the menu at a Halloween party.
Love the candy theme? Try a Tootsie Roll Cocktail or even Skittles-Infused Vodka, especially if you add a cube of dry ice for some witchy fun.
Spooky Glow-in-the-Dark Jell-O Shots make a lasting impression too.
Not hosting a party this year? Candy Corn Vodka would be the perfect hocus pocus hostess gift for the friend who throws the best Halloween parties.
(Though it might be a good idea to find out her opinion on candy corn first!)
