BBQ Meatballs Recipe

Dionne Baldwin | Try Anything Once

For an appetizer you can’t get enough of, these BBQ Meatballs are really going to hit the spot! Easy to make a quick to prepare, you’re not far away from this savory treat.

Meatballs have a reputation for taking a long time to make. At least that’s how I always thought of them when I watched my mom make them when I was growing up. Homemade meatballs are so very delicious but as a kid, I swore they weren’t worth the time.

What did I know?! Ha! They really don’t have to take long at all and this recipe doesn’t use many ingredients.

Thanks to a desperate craving for meatballs and a last minute visitor, this recipe was born using ingredients I already had on hand. It’s a good idea to keep some ground beef in the freezer just in case.

I work a lot but also like to make dinner at home as much as possible (whenever we don’t order takeout or grab a pizza). I also like to make little savory treats for friends to snack on when they come over. There’s something about homemade or somewhat homemade snacks for you guests, isn’t there?

This appetizer is ideal for my busy lifestyle and for any guest offering to jump right in and help, they’re able to roll up their sleeves and make these meatballs! I am definitely do not hesitate to let friends help out in the kitchen.

These go well with some fresh, seasonal vegetables. Maybe some homemade tortilla chips and spicy bean dip if you need more than one appetizer.

This appetizer recipe is a spinoff of my main dish recipe for 15 Minute Meatballs, only these BBQ Meatballs take even less time to cook (and bake) because the meatballs are smaller. This is an easy one to delegate if you need a little hand in the kitchen.
