Pizza Pasta just make your weeknight all the more delicious. An easy and quick supper.

Pizza night is a regular occurrence in most families. It seems that most of the time though, pizza night involves picking up the phone and having it delivered. As easy as that is, my pizza pasta skillet is ready even faster. Seriously, start to finish is 20 minutes! Unless you live next door to the pizza place, you aren’t getting delivery that fast. And I don’t know about your pizza, but whenever I get delivery; it is rarely hot and fresh when it arrives.

This pizza pasta is easy to change up to what your family likes. Our favorite pizza has sausage and pepperoni, so that is what I used here. You like mushrooms and green peppers? Add them in! Top with black olives, if that is what your family likes. All the taste of your favorite pizza, in a pasta skillet. Perfect for busy weeknights. Everything is made in just one pan, so even doing the dishes is easy.

I'm kind of obsessed thinking about different combinations. Adding in fresh herbs in the last few minutes of cooking could be a game changer too. There's a pizza on the East coast, called a "Grandma's Pie", that just has tons of fresh garlic and basil in addition to the traditional sauce and mozzarella. You could totally do that here. But if you have carnivores in your family (I definitely do), ham, salami, ground beef, and even kielbasa would be excellent in this one pot meal!

Pasta skillets are so easy, and come in all different flavors. I am kind of obsessed with creating new versions lately. You can go Mexican with taco pasta skillet or Spanish with this spicy sausage Spanish rice skillet. Or mix it up at go Italian with this pizza pasta skillet. My 9 year old loved this pizza version. He would eat pizza every night of the week, so he is super excited that this has become a staple in our house.
