Whether you're serving Easter brunch as one of your main meals this holiday or just as a filler for your immediate family as they wait for the big dinner later that afternoon, these recipes are sure to help keep bellies full and smiles plastered across their faces.

Any good brunch consists of an even mix of sweet and savory, bread and vegetable, fruit and bacon. They are orchestrated to spread wide over multiple meals, and I suppose they work wonderfully for that in-between space between requisite (or not) church services and when the lamb is ready (or ham, if that's your family's thing).

Whatever the occasion, they are one of my favorite meals of any weekend, as they are often packed with all those "breakfast" foods I never really make for breakfast.

And don't miss our roundup of ideas for breakfast with the Easter bunny!

1. Sausage Strata (Egg Bake)

Egg bakes have long been a favorite of mine for breakfast and brunch. Easy to make ahead and bake off while getting the rest of the food ready, this one holds plenty of sausage for the meat lovers in the family.

2. PW's Quiche

We lovingly refer to all quiche as "scarmbled egg pie" around my house, and you can't go wrong with pie for a main dish.

3. Cherry Scones

Dried cherries dot these sweet and fluffy scones. Sprinkle with sanding sugar for an extra special Easter treat.

4. Apple Coffee Cake

Classic coffee cake gets a bit of an update with soft, baked apples. This will sure to be a hit on any brunch buffet.

5. Cinnamon Rolls

No brunch is complete without a warm pan of cinnamon buns, their swirled centers steaming with goodness.

6. Lemon Ricotta Muffins

Lemon and ricotta come together for a fluffy morning muffin that pairs well with any variety of sweet and savory eats.

7. Mushroom and Feta Hashbrown Skillet

Earthy mushrooms and salty feta combine in this savory skillet dish.

8. Maple Candied Bacon

Sugaring off is a special time of year, and with maple season just finishing up, Easter brunch is the perfect time to showcase this sweet sap treat. Plus, bacon.

9. Banana Bread

My family purposefully hides the last couple bananas so that banana bread will appear at breakfast. This family favorite is a surefire hit.

10. Lavender Biscuits

A kiss of lavender makes these biscuits extra special.

11. Broiled Grapefruit

Even grapefruit skeptics will dig into these golden beauties. Broiling them mellows some of their characteristic tartness, and it makes for a beautiful fruit addition to your brunch table.

12. Creamy, Cheesy Grits

No Southern brunch would be complete without a side of grits. These have cheese, butter, and cream already worked in and waiting for guests to dig in.

13. Ham Steaks

A thick slice of ham, caramelized and cooked to perfection deserves a place on the brunch table.

14. Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs

Smoked salmon and deviled eggs meet in this recipe just begging for a piece of rye toast to serve alongside it.

15. Mini Spinach Quiche

These cute little quiches are quick and easy to prepare, and they fit perfectly wedged in between that broiled grapefruit and the massive slice of coffee cake you already loaded on your plate.
