Banana bread is one of those baked goods that is so beautiful in its ability to be so wholesome and simple, yet packed full of flavor and promise.

You can customize your banana bread in so many ways and it will end up pretty incredible. It’s a delicious blank canvas for anything your heart desires.

I prefer my banana bread more simple like this brown butter banana bread or this chocolate peanut butter banana bread.

This Nutella-swirled banana bread fits this in that is is fairly simple in preparation, but it still packs a big flavor punch.

Brown butter and brown sugar gives the banana bread a nuttier, almost caramelized flavor.

That, paired with the Nutella makes for a crazy flavorful. It also makes the bread bake up darker than normal banana bread.

Do not be worried about the bread being over baked and use a toothpick to test for doneness. Look at this loaf and see how dark it is? It is totally normal. You can place aluminum foil over the bread 30 minutes in, if you are concerned about the color.

I prefer to add my Nutella in twice for more flavor. First, I will swirl some right into the batter, then next, I will leave small spoonfuls throughout so there are pockets of Nutella.
