Peanut Butter Banana Fudge Recipe

Peanut Butter Banana Fudge combines the classic flavors of that awesome sandwich into a tasty treat. Pop-able deliciousness!

Peanut Butter Banana Fudge Photo

Not long ago I shared a photo of this fudge on Instagram. Without hints, I asked people to guess the flavor. Quite a few people responded, with plenty of fun ideas.

They almost all came back as salted caramel. Haha! No, but that sure sounds like my next flavor to make. The other flavor was peanut butter. Close. Very very close.

As you know (you do know this right??) I am obsessed with making fudge. Any candy really. It’s such a satisfying treat to make in the kitchen. And I promise it’s easy.

I don’t use a candy thermometer for this version, so anyone can make it at home. All you need are some simple ingredients and a little patience.

The patience comes in handy when waiting for the fudge to set up. Otherwise you may burn your tongue on the hot mess (true story, I’ve totally licked the spatula after making fudge and had blisters on my tongue). Ouch.

I added a package of Instant Banana Cream Pudding mix to give this fudge a sweet banana flavor! I didn’t want to overwhelm you with either peanut butter or banana, so in this recipe, the peanut butter is melted and drizzled over the bites of fudge. The chocolate sprinkles are just for fun of course! You can use chocolate though instead of the peanut butter and have a whole different flavor: Chocolate Banana Fudge. Right????

These would also be adorable in treat baskets or gift bags for your teachers at the end of the year. You could add a little tag that says “my kid went bananas for you as a teacher.” Okay, that’s a little corny, haha! But you could just say, “Have a great summer!” I know many teachers who will be getting a little gift just like this one, so don’t spoil my surprise.

Enjoy the fudge recipe! I promise to have some new flavors coming soon maybe even one with salted caramel.

  • 1 Instant Banana Cream Pudding Mix, 3.4 ounces
  • 11 ounces White Chocolate Chips, one package
  • 7 ounces Marshmallow Fluff, 1 jar

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Baking Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream
For Decoration:

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, add sugar, butter, salt, and heavy cream. Heat over medium high and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Once boiling, continue to stir and boil for a full 4 minutes (a good rolling boil). Remove from heat.

  3. Pour into an 8inch square baking dish that is lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 3 hours, or overnight.
  4. Cut into 64 bite sized pieces.
  5. In a small microwave safe dish, melt peanut butter morsels with heavy cream for 30 seconds, stir and heat an additional 30 seconds until creamy. Drizzle over fudge pieces and add chocolate sprinkles immediately. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. ENJOY!
